Seriously?
Since we have all been feeling under the weather, the boys and I have been sticking pretty close to the house. And when I say close to the house, I really mean close to the bed and close to the floor. It was on one of our many 'lay on the ground' marathons that I spotted a tiny little lions leg sticking out from under our bed. We had been looking for this lion for some time so the boys were pretty pumped about our chance discovery. And after finding this little treasure, I decided we better see what other goodies might be hiding under there. I was a little bit shocked and a whole lot appalled by the amount of "goodies" that we found. Of course, the boys were super excited because it was just a tad like Christmas morning. Check out this list...we found a lion, a tiger, a tractor tire, a monster truck, a mini ball, a construction worker, a bite size mini wheat, a dime, a fire truck, a heating pad, a camo jet, my computer, a purple ball, diaper rash cream, a yellow ball, a blue stackable, a cough drop, a half eaten poptart, a pony tail holder, 2 head bands, a jingle bell, a flute, a snack bowl, a ridiculous amount of Kix, a blue ball, an even more ridiculous amount of Cheerios, and ironically a happy holidays letter from our cleaning service that we just recently fired. Seriously you might ask? Seriously.

The Pukes.
The hubby and I headed to San Antonio this past weekend for JR and Brent's wedding weekend! It also happened to be Jason's birthday so we had a ton to celebrate. We naively figured it would be a weekend full of lots of fun, maybe a little romance, and some wonderful quality time with old friends. Luckily most of the weekend decided to agree with our plans for a great time even though on Friday night we heard that Gigi and Grandad were handling a very sweet Bear with a case of 'the pukes'. We were concerned and sad for our little guy, but they assured us that he was fine and that we shouldn't worry about a thing. So besides Bear's bad belly, things were moving along without a hitch until Saturday night. Yep, that's right...right before the wedding reception, my stomach decided to rebel against all of our plans for a fantastic evening. Yep, that's right...right as I am standing at the front of the room waiting for them to announce the wedding party, I found myself running to the bathroom to experience my very own case of 'the pukes'. So instead of a night of coffemaking it up with the beautiful bride, I was in bed and asleep by 8 p.m. And then poor Jason who thought he was going to spend his birthday night watching his wife coffemaker it up with the bride, instead found himself coming up with his own rendition of 'the pukes' as well. And if that wasn't enough, we called home in the morning to find out that Jack and Gigi figured they might as well get in on 'the pukes' action too. Can you say yuck, yuck, and double yuck? Thankfully, things are slowly getting back to normal around here although it has been quite the rough road. Here are a few pictures we took before things got squirrely...

My Very Dynamic Duo!
Who would have known that a quick game of pretending to be "Bolt" and his faithful sidekick "Rhino" would cause such a love fest between my two little guys! I think we might just have to watch the movie 15 times tomorrow instead of the usual 14!

Vegas Baby!
It was JR's bachelorette party in Vegas this past weekend! And even though I am well aware of the rule about "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" I just couldn't resist sharing some pictures of our wildly fabulous time in sin city! And you will be happy to know that these 'definitely past their prime, thirty somethings' can still hold their own with the best of them!
