Who would have known that a quick game of pretending to be "Bolt" and his faithful sidekick "Rhino" would cause such a love fest between my two little guys! I think we might just have to watch the movie 15 times tomorrow instead of the usual 14!

Vegas Baby!
It was JR's bachelorette party in Vegas this past weekend! And even though I am well aware of the rule about "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" I just couldn't resist sharing some pictures of our wildly fabulous time in sin city! And you will be happy to know that these 'definitely past their prime, thirty somethings' can still hold their own with the best of them!

Road Trippin!
While most "normal" people stuck close to the house this past super cold weekend...Gigi, the boys, and I decided why not head north to Tyler and visit Uncle Adam! He is a new homeowner and I was really excited to finally get to see the place and of course, the boys are always excited to get to see their uncle. We had such a great time letting Adam play host as the boys goofed off and Mom and I threw around decorating ideas. I have to say that it was pretty hilarious to watch my very messy younger brother chase my very messy youngest son around with the dust buster! Oh, how times are a changing! Thanks for the hospitality, Adam...we'll be back again once the ice in the pool is good and gone!

Smores Fun!
Jason picked up a fire pit for our New Years Eve festivities...so of course, Jack and I decided that we just couldn't make it through a single Saturday night without having a smores party! After all, Jack is a smores-making-pro after our recent trip to RoRo's house and it was definitely time to showcase his new found skills! Unfortunately Bear's early bird schedule caused him to miss the goodies once again, but luckily Elli, Abigail, and James were more than willing to see these smores things up close and personal. The kids had a great time hanging out by the fire (despite the smoke) and loved eating their finished products (despite the marshmallows). Of course, the biggest hit was getting to stay up late to play on the playground. Who knew that swinging and teeter-tottering in the dark could be so darn fun!
