We Heart Christmas!!

Kate Turns 2!!

Yes, it's true...Kate (Taters, Cakes, Stinkerella, Tater Tot) Fisher has officially turned the big 2!! Hard to believe, that our littlest bittiest one isn't all that little bitty anymore. Nope...our little girl is a walking, talking force to be reckoned with from the moment she wakes up until she curls up in bed (usually at the late night hour of 6 p.m.). We are all having such fun with her (Jack told me just a few minutes ago that "Kate is H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S") and she is definitely keeping us all on our toes.
Yes, it's true...Kate (Taters, Cakes, Stinkerella, Tater Tot) Fisher is one in a million. She is all girl with a borderline obsession with shoes, a full head of to die for hair, and the not so secret knowledge that a kiss will get her almost anything.  She loves tutus, her baby dolls, Princess movies, jewelry, strollers, and has even been known to request "pink toes" if the mood strikes her. She is a patter and a squeezer. She can crinkle her nose up just right when asking a question. And she also has just the right amount of sass to go with her perfectly full cheeks, button nose, and big blue eyes. But of course (as her Grandad will be quick to remind you), she is far from just another sweetheart with a kissable face. She is a smart little bug who loves to read her books and then read them "one more time" and then "one more time" after that. She can run with the big kids and likes to chase her brothers exclaiming "I'm winning" no matter how far she is behind. She is a tough cookie who will stare you down if you even think of taking her grilled cheese. She is impatient and has a particular disdain for traffic lights yelling "go mommy" until it finally turns green. She loves to jump, jump, jump and has a fearless streak that I already admire (while only slightly cringing). She can be amazingly agreeable if you are smart (or lucky) enough to get the explanation right. She is outgoing at times, shy at others but always fun lovin' with a natural skip to her step that makes me smile every time.
Yes, it's true...Kate (Taters, Cakes, Stinkerella, Tater Tot) Fisher continues to be the perfect finale to this wild and crazy family. We love all that she brings and cannot wait to see all that she becomes...

Saki Bomb Sunday!!

We can add another notch on the Saki Bomb birthday belt and this year we even took it up a few notches! We added even more family and friends to the guest list and you know what that means...even more FUN!

Thanks so much to everyone for helping me celebrate this 29th birthday thing AGAIN!

You really make a girl feel warm and cozy all over...oh, wait maybe that's just the Saki! Ha!
