Jason, aka Mr. Romance, upped the Valentine's Day anty this year by surprising me with a quick getaway to our ol' stomping ground of Santa Fe, New Mexico!! He pulled this same amazing stunt off for my 30th birthday...we had just found out we were pregnant with what would be sweet Jackie B and we couldn't have been happier or more terrified of the journey we were about to begin!! : )
Of course, the 'surprise' factor was a little more complex this go round but my valentine (with some help from ol' Gigi and Grandad) was able to get the job done!
And thank goodness, that he did! We had an absolutely fabulous time filled with walks through the square, drinks by the fire, hikes through the forest, and a whole lot of pamper us time all along the way.
Sound perfect? Well it was!
Thank you so much for one heck of a weekend, honey bunny!! I still couldn't be happier about OR more terrified of this amazing journey of ours, but one thing is for sure...I wouldn't want to be on it with anybody else!!
