Kate Fish

I read somewhere where a woman described her 3rd child as a "frosting" baby. 

The comment really stuck with me because as soon as I read it I thought...

what a perfect way to describe our lil' Miss Kate. 

She truly is the "frosting" on this cake of a family. 

She brings so much fun and wonder to all of us each and every day. 

She's smart as a whip, sassy as can be, and sweet as all get out.

 She is the best kind of enigma and the cutest series of contradictions. 

She loves all things pink, but can run with her big boy brothers
and (literally) winds up on the top of the dog pile just as often as she does the bottom. 

She loves her friends and going to "school', 

but is also just as content to be my one and only shopping sidekick for the day. 

One minute she is Miss Independent and
 the next she is explaining (strongly) how she is NOT a big girl. 

She is as girlie as they come and loves to play babies, put on makeup, and tutu it up whenever possible...

but she will also hop on the 4 wheeler and put the pedal to the metal without a moments hesitation. 

She can be outgoing and talkative or shy and aloof. 

She is affectionate and cuddly,
but also has no problem making you work for those precious hugs. 

She wants all of her clothes to "match" but doesn't mind if her room rivals pig pens' place. 

She is a beautiful goof that will steal your heart with a shrug of the shoulders. 

 I cannot wait to see what this world brings her...
and even more importantly what she brings to this world.
Go get em' Kate! You are crazy cool and we love, love, LOVE you!
