Look Out Stros!

Jack received a couple of t-ball sets for Christmas so Jason decided that he had better stop the slacking and teach the boy some of the fundamentals of the game. The lesson went really well although there were quite a few "no, I can do its" and "by myselfs" flying around. I definitely think Jack is a natural even if his form might be a bit unconventional! : )

Happy Birthday to Me!

I think I might be a little in denial about the fact that I turned thirty-three this past Tuesday. Although I'm not sure how this can be, when my loving husband kept whispering treinte-tres in my ear every chance he got and I have several sweet friends who have had a lot of fun reminding me just how old I am getting. : ) Whatever the case may be, I am feeling really upbeat about this upcoming thirty third year of mine. I mean, how can I not? I might be a little more wrinkly than I expected to be, carrying around a few more pounds of leftover baby weight than I would like, and way more tired than I have ever been with little hope of reprieve until my kids are teenagers...BUT I have never, ever been happier or my life full of more love!

We're ready for you, Santa!

We are still knee deep in Christmas cheer and loving every minute of it! The big day is coming up fast so it's a very good thing that we finally got the lights on the house (only one or two Clark Griswald moments to speak of) and that there is on-line shopping because otherwise there wouldn't be many presents under our tree and we would be forced to teach the boys the true meaning of Christmas. Although we will definitely be tackling that at some point, I have a feeling it might be just a tad early for them to truly grasp that concept. : ) I can see it now "...and that is the true meaning of Christmas. Isn't that beautiful?" Hayes would just look up at us with his goofy grin and Jack would say "Uh yeah...where my parking garagee, momom?" Here are a couple of our most recent holiday pics...

Tis the season!

This has always been my favorite time of year and that is even more true now that I have my own kids. We are having so much fun beginning our own little family traditions and carrying on those special ones from our own childhood. So as you can probably imagine...Christmas is officially underway around here! We have had plenty of phone calls and even a couple of encounters with ol' Santa Claus (some good, some not so good), we've meticulously picked out the perfect tree, Jason has been seen climbing or sliding around on the roof attempting to put up outdoor lights, matching Christmas Eve pj's have been selected for the boys, etc. Here are a few pics of our "merry" activities...
