The husbands of the Welty and Fisher clans decided that it was high time that we high tailed it to the beach SO we obediently packed the kids up and made our way down to Surfside on Saturday afternoon. It wasn't exactly the prettiest weather and it definitely wasn't the prettiest of beaches, but we had a great time catching up and chasing the boys up, down, and all around. It was so much fun to watch our boys as they took it all in...Hayes was fascinated by all of the "wawa" but turned and ran for the hills as soon as the waves headed his way. I think he actually walked on water he was moving so fast! : ) Jack, on the other hand, needed absolutely no warm up time with this beach business. He was fearless (and actually pantless) as he plowed his dump truck into the water over and over again. What a difference a year makes!

Boys running, digging, splashing, laughing sure make blah weather and a so so beach beautiful.
Hayes is so smart. He discovered that cars move better in the sand when they are on their tops.
That's my grandson!
Too fun! That's what you picture when you dream of having children!
