Camp Fisher!
This past Saturday was one of those rare Saturday nights where we had absolutely nothing going on and amazingly, Sunday was also one of those rare Sundays where we had absolutely nothing going on! So of course, all this down time made my mind begin to spin and of course, it obviously landed on a Fisher camp out-trampoline style! Duh. Luckily, Jason (the voice of reason) was able to reign me in a bit and we compromised with a Fisher camp out-bedroom floor style! The boys were so excited for this new indoorsy adventure and we weren't about to skimp on the details. Early Saturday morning, our little troupe headed to Target to stock up on all of the necessary supplies. Hayes picked out his very first sleeping bag, we all picked out a brand new movie, and then we loaded up on the proper rations...pizza, popcorn, Halloween cookies, and brownies! That afternoon, the guys took it upon themselves to fully tentify our bedroom and lo and behold we were in business! Next on the agenda? Not much...just a long night of campfire cuddling! And let me tell you, that hour and a half was just exactly how I had imagined it! : )

Sweet Dreams!
Our 5th wedding anniversary was a few weeks ago and although it was quite the challenge to find the time to celebrate it...this past Saturday we made it all about us. Since it literally feels like we've been running crazy ever since we uttered "I Do", I told Jason that my ideal anniversary date would be to get a hotel room and SLEEP, SLEEP, SLEEP! So given that Jason is an amazing husband and just as exhausted as his prego wife, he got right to work on our perfectly sluggish plans. Once we were finally able to nail down a date for our mini sleep-cation, we dropped our two little slave drivers off at Gigi and Grandads and headed to Hotel Icon (which just so happens to be the hotel that we stayed at on our wedding night all those years ago). We lazily checked in, slowly got dressed, strolled across the street for dinner, savored way too much food, waddled back across the street, leisurely watched the end of a movie, fell fast asleep at 10 p.m., roused ourselves at 9 a.m, lackadaisically ordered a bunch of room service, and finished off our lounge fest drooling during hour long spa massages. Pure bliss, I'm tellin ya! I love you so much, Jason...thanks for giving me this magical life and the sweetest of dreams.

The Sweet Spot!
There are plenty of perks to having my birthday 2 days before Christmas...#1 is that it doesn't just rain presents at that time of the year, but it actually POURS presents and #2 is that I never, ever had to go to school on my birthday. Now if I wanted to be a 'glass is half empty' type of person, then I could also mention that there is a complete present drought during the other 11 months of the year, that there is a very real possibility of a road closing blizzard on the day of your birthday party, and that if you are lucky enough to have this birthday then you will never, ever get to bring cupcakes to your classmates on your big day. : ) Now as most of you now know, we are about to have 3 little rug rats running around here. Our first born, Jackson Bryant, is a very blessed little boy who happened to be born on August 23rd. This August birthday is awesome in plenty of ways (mainly of the pool party kind), but alas it is also a few days before the school year begins which means there are no school cupcakes on the horizon for baby boy #1. Now as some of you know, our third baby to be will be making his or her debut on the above mentioned December 23rd. Yep, that's right a scheduled c-section right smack dab on my 35th birthday. And since we try to be 'glass is half full' type of people around here, I will mention yet again that there are many perks that come with this birthday, but alas these do not include one, single classmate cupcake for sweet baby #3. Now you might have noticed that I have yet to mention Mr. Hayesee Bear Fisher, our little booger stuck in the middle of all this madness. Not the oldest, but not the youngest. Not the first, but not the last. The one who we will gladly, deliberately, and enthusiastically go out of our way to show just as much excitement about as we did with the first child and be just as sentimental about as we are going to be with the last child. This is a pledge I have made and plan to keep so take that future therapists! : ) With that being pledged, you can imagine my utter excitement when I realized that my soon-to-be middle child would be attending school on his actual, real life, true blue 2nd BIRTHDAY! It took me about two seconds to realize, compute, and embrace the pure awesomeness of getting to bring baby cupcakes for little Bear Bear to share with his little buds. And amazingly enough, it was just as cool as I always imagined it to be! So here's to you my perfectly lovable midpoint baby...there's not a single thing average about you!
Round 2!!
It was Hayes' real life birthday on Wednesday and of course, that meant it was also time for round 2 of our new found birthday tradition! Now that the boys knew exactly what to expect from the heavenly Chocolate Bar, they couldn't have been more excited to go. They spent the day telling me exactly what kind of candy they were going to put on their bars and by golly, they didn't waiver a bit once it was decision time. I guess if you've tasted pure goodness then it would be silly to change it up, right? We all had a great time once again and amazingly enough, we even upped the anty a little this time around. In addition to the big laughs, goofy dance moves, and wrestling matches...this time around we also had a diarrhea mishap, a manaquin accident, and a head stuck through the gate emergency! And again, who says parenting is hum drum? : ) Happy real life birthday, Boogie Bear! You are a sweet as pie, little mess and we love you millions!

Little Bear and his Big Birthday!
It was finally time for 'Bear's Birthday Blowout' this past Saturday! As you hopefully guessed, the theme for this big shindig was all things inflatable. : ) We filled the backyard with as much hot air we could handle and our little birthday boy (and his big bro) were as pumped up as the super sized bounce castle! Hayes had been practicing his signature jump all week and was so excited to finally showcase his skills in front of friends and family. It was a great afternoon full of lots of fun, perfect weather, and plenty of birthday smiles! We ended up with one very happy and completely exhausted little Bear which means I'm marking this blowout down as one heck of a party! Happy Birthday Party Day, Bear-Bear! We love you!
