The LSC was at it again this past weekend, babies and all! For those of you who aren't sure what this LSC talk is all about, I have decided to give you a little back story. We are a group of five very different girls that are also very much the same. Despite our differences, there is such an ease to our friendships and we have seen each other through the good, the bad, and the ugly. Luckily for all of us, it has mostly been the good which means we are usually celebrating something and without a doubt getting into some sort of trouble. Despite all of our busy schedules, different cities, and growing families we have done a good job of getting together at least a couple of times a year to celebrate some life change or just each other. This past weekend was no exception and we definitely had quite a bit to celebrate with Jennifer's recent engagement and our newest addition, Calleigh Joann. I guess now you are also wondering what the name LSC is all about, huh? Well, several years ago we decided it would be fun to have monthly dinner parties. Each party would be hosted by a different girl and the food/theme would be from a different country. Of course, this dinner party group needed a name so hence the "Last Supper Club" was born! Jason and I hosted a Mexican fiesta all those years ago and to spice things up a bit, we came up with an intense game of "Mexican Survivor" to go along with those delicious margaritas. : ) We had everything from a one handed "juevo" toss to pin the tail on the "burro" It was a great night of hilarious memories so when Jen Red requested a sequel for this past weekend, I just didn't have the heart to deny her. Of course, the pressure was definitely on and I decided that we definitely had to go big or not at all. After many Fisher brainstorming sessions, we finally came up with the lineup...the egg toss, the chicken fight, water balloon dodge ball, a pig race, and finishing up with a slip n slide flag grab. After all was said and done, I had two eggs cracked on my head, Danny had a bloody nose, Mary had completely forgotten her bathing suit bottoms, and all of our skin was silky smooth from the enormous amounts of baby oil that was required for the pig race (Jason's brainstorm and a crowd favorite). I think my face still hurts from laughing so hard! Thanks for such a great weekend everybody with a special thanks to all of our sweet babies whose flexible dispositions made it possible for their parents to act like little kids again...
