Jason was out of town this past weekend and like any other extremely tired and somewhat overwhelmed mother of two little boys...I headed straight to my parents house. : ) As always when we spend the weekend with Gigi and Grandad, we have a ton of fun and are usually even more tired by the end of it. This time we squeezed in a visit to Armand Bayou Nature Center for an annual arts and crafts fair. We got there kind of late in the day so I think we missed out on a lot of the festivities, but we still had a great time enjoying the beautiful day. We were a little disappointed by the animal turnout, but one thing this fair was not short on was tractors (of course this was right up Jack's alley). We saw big tractors, little tractors, old tractors, new tractors, tractors in a parade, etc. You name it, they had it! We learned a lot about the dang things and I came away with a whole new respect for them. I mean, did you know that tractors can make strawberry ice cream, wash clothes, and shoot a ball twenty feet in the air? You always get a little bit smarter when you spend time at Gigi and Grandad's...
