Field Trippin!

It's that time of year again...we get to have picnics, we get to use sidewalk chalk, we get to wear our Croc's, and Jack and I get to go on another Field Trip Friday!! This time we were headed to the Main Street Theater to see 'Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day'. We had done our homework (a.k.a read the book once) and were very, very excited to see it all go down live. Luckily for me, levelheaded Jack made sure that all of our game day excitement didn't get the better of us. He repeatedly told me the rules of the day...wear a white shirt, eat a good breakfast, and don't be late!! Once he was sure we had a handle on all of the "requirements" then we were off and running. And not to toot our own horns, but we must have looked pretty put together because Jack's teachers put me in charge of not just Jack, but Kingston too! Who is Kingston you might ask? Well, he just so happens to be Jack's very best school friend so as you probably can guess our day instantly became a whole lot sillier, a whole lot goofier, and a whole lot more fun! The boys had a blast and I had a great time observing my not so little guy as he cracked jokes, flirted with the girls, and followed those ever important school bus rules. I love you so much, Jackie Fish! Thanks for letting your ol' mom tag along on your super cool day...
